2026 Spring Tree/Shrub Giveaway
We will give away 3,000 native tree and shrub seedlings in pots on Saturday, March 28th, at Old Mill Park, 2201 Caroline Street, 22401, from 9:00 am – Noon. All plants must be pre-ordered starting on March 2nd on this page. Each household may reserve a maximum of six trees or shrubs. The announcement for the event will be sent first to our email list. Please sign up here to receive announcements about this and future tree giveaway events. This event is open to all residents of Virginia. Tree Stewards will be on hand to teach proper tree planting and answer questions from the public. All plants must be picked up in person by you or your designee. Any plants not picked up by noon will be forfeited.
