Guest Lectures:

  • 9:30 – 10:30 am – Karen Tavakoli – “Keystone Native Plants”
  • 10:30 – 11:30 am – Alonso Abugattas – “Birds, Bugs & Berries”
  • Lecture tickets (include both lectures)  — $20. Tickets allow attendees priority early admission to the Festival to pick up their preordered trees and shrubs starting at 11:35 am.
  • Attendance limited to 125.
  • Online reservations for the lectures will start on August 6 for everyone.

Tree and Shrub Ordering Details:

  • Online reservations for trees and shrubs start August 6 for residents of 22401 and August 13 for all other Virginia residents.
  • No commercial entities or out-of-state residents allowed.
  • Trees and shrubs must be picked up by you or your designee on Sunday, September 28 between noon and 3 p.m. at the Fred Nats Baseball Stadium, 42 Jackie Robinson Way, 22401.
  • Festival also includes:
    • Native Perennials Sales – 1000’s of plants
    • Tabling from many environmental groups
    • Free workshops on Pruning, Garden Design, Pollinators, and Native Plants throughout the day
